A new “bully box” installed

New anonymous reporting boxes are expected to be installed within the next month in both buildings as part of the updated 2017-2018 school improvement plan. Pushing away from the previously established “bully box,” these new boxes will also be used to recognize someone that has done something good and deserves praise.

The boxes can be used for reporting violations of civil rights, dating violence, harassment, and to anonymously shed light on someone who is struggling with issues such as bullying and drug abuse. Member of the school’s Leadership Committee Dana Yancoskie describes this procedure as “an effort towards a safe campus and a hate free zone.”
